After working in the coffee sector for 7 years, I discovered coffee cuppers. They became almost like a new species I’d never seen before. How they interpret aromas, flavors, and textures and express them with words became fascinating.

My curiosity for flavors expanded, and far from being an expert or a taster, I became passionate about seeking the stories of those who have the ability to interconnect flavors with their nose, tongue, brain, and soul.

I jumped from coffee conversations to the first talk about beer, and that was it. I had to keep looking for more taster tales. I am Monica Ramirez Bolek, a thirsty journalist, ready to pour the next drink.
